Welcome to the Cordova Community Center Web Site!
It's future is in your hands.
Occasionally, a really perfect opportunity presents itself to secure
for ourselves something truly worthwhile. One such opportunity is
to have a facility that can be the focal point of the Cordova area.
It's the Cordova Community Center with its school rooms, auditoriums,
gymnasium and almost 8 acres of ball fields and grounds. Here for
now and for years to come will be a place to fulfill a variety of
community needs.
The community center facilities was the Cordova School for 60 years.
After that it was vacant for 12 years until 8 Cordova citizens
formed a nonprofit corporation in 1986 to purchase the school for the
community. It now includes the Cordova Branch of the
Public Library, the Cordova Local Museum, a gym and ball fields for
community athletics, meeting rooms for political meetings, subdivision
association meetings, or private parties.
We have space available to rent. If you need a place to hold a
meeting, a sporting event, or a class, please contact us.
If you need more information on the Cordova Community Center, please
call (901)757-4400 or e-mail the center at
johntlawrence@cordovacommunitycenter.com.
We hope you will come back to view our enhancements and updates to
this site.
